Connect Disnat to WealthWise
Disnat, the brokerage subsidiary of Desjardins, is one of the most-used discount brokers in Quebec — especially among Desjardins members who want to keep all their assets under one roof. Disnat Classic targets occasional investors, Disnat Direct targets more active self-directed investors. In both cases, the built-in analytics interface stays limited if you want a real portfolio view (FIRE, sector allocation, multi-account projections).
WealthWise connects to Disnat via SnapTrade, a Canadian aggregator specialized in broker connectivity. Your positions, transactions, dividends, and per-account balances sync automatically — no manual copy-paste needed, and no transmission of your AccèsD password.
How to connect Disnat to WealthWise (5 steps)
- Create a free WealthWise account
Go to mywealthwise.ca and create your free account with email + password or via Google. No credit card needed. - Open Settings → Connected brokers
Once in the app, click the Settings icon (top right), then select the "Connected brokers" section. - Click Connect → Choose Disnat
Click "Connect a broker", select Disnat from the list. A SnapTrade OAuth popup opens and redirects you to the official Disnat portal (AccèsD). - Authorize WealthWise (read-only)
You sign in to AccèsD as usual — your password is entered on disnat.com, not on WealthWise. Approve the read-only access request. - Sync your accounts
Back in WealthWise, your RRSP, TFSA, FHSA, margin, RESP, and RRIF Disnat accounts appear. Click "Sync" to import all your positions and full transaction history.

Why this "read-only" positioning?
WealthWise is an analytics tool, not a broker or registered advisor. By staying read-only, we avoid any regulatory gray zone and your funds stay 100% at Disnat/Desjardins. You retain full control of your money.
Security, privacy, and Quebec Law 25
SnapTrade is a Canadian aggregator (based in Toronto) that follows industry standards: end-to-end TLS encryption, short-lived OAuth 2.0 tokens, SOC 2 Type II audits. WealthWise stores your tokens encrypted in Supabase (database hosted in Montreal, compliant with Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information). No AccèsD password ever transits through our servers, and no data is transmitted outside Canada without your explicit consent.
You can revoke access at any time:
- From Disnat: AccèsD → Security → Connected apps → SnapTrade → Remove access
- From WealthWise: Settings → Connected brokers → Disconnect Disnat
Revocation is instant. Your historical data remains in WealthWise (you can delete it independently and exercise your rights of access, rectification, and deletion under Law 25).
Use case: Disnat + WealthWise for Quebecers
Disnat users are often long-time Desjardins members with several accounts opened over the years (personal RRSP + TFSA + margin + family RESP). WealthWise aggregates all those accounts in a single view, applies CAD/USD conversion at Bank of Canada historical rates, and produces a personalized Monte Carlo FIRE projection. Available in French and English, hosted in Quebec, Law 25 compliant.
