What's in the Free plan, for life
The Free plan is not a trial. It is free for life, no card, no time limit. It covers a first Canadian portfolio (RRSP, TFSA, or non-registered), CSV/Excel import and a descriptive dashboard. AI features require Premium access, including an eligible activated trial.
Security, compliance, and data residency
All user data is hosted on servers in Canada (Supabase ca-central-1, Montreal). Compliant with Canadian privacy law and the federal PIPEDA. Your broker credentials are never transmitted to us — broker integration uses SnapTrade in read-only mode, with no trade execution. See the privacy policy and terms of service.
Frequently asked questions
How does the 14-day Premium free trial work?
After creating and confirming your account, eligible users can activate a 14-day Premium trial from the app's pricing screen. It does not start automatically at signup. No credit card is required. When it ends, trial access stops; your underlying plan remains. A paid subscription requires a separate purchase.
How long is beta pricing available?
Beta pricing is an optional offer. Check the current rate, billing interval and applicable subscription terms in the app before payment. Do not assume a cancelled offer will be available when subscribing again.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings › Subscription. Upgrades are immediate; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is there a commitment?
Monthly and annual subscriptions are available. Manage cancellation from your subscription settings. Review the billing and cancellation terms shown before payment; contact support for refund questions.
What payment methods are accepted?
Web subscriptions use Stripe checkout. The payment methods available for your purchase are displayed at checkout.
Is the Free plan time-limited?
No. The Free plan is free for life: 1 portfolio up to 15 assets, CSV/Excel import, and a descriptive dashboard. No card required, ever.
Are taxes included in the prices?
No. Prices shown are pre-tax (GST/PST/HST/QST). Applicable taxes are added automatically based on your province of residence (5% minimum for federal GST, up to ~15% for GST + QST in Quebec).
Is my data hosted in Canada?
Yes. All user data is on Supabase ca-central-1 (Montreal). Compliant with Canadian privacy law and federal PIPEDA. See the full subprocessor list on the privacy policy.
Can I connect my brokerage?
The Premium plan includes read-only connections for institutions shown in our provider's secure window. This list may change. Disnat is unfortunately not available for direct connection at this time, but file import remains available.
